If you are comming here because of the black hole movie on Netflix then I hope you enjoyed the movie! :) The black hole imaging continues so stay tuned for more results in the future.

Hi visitor!
My name is Monika Moscibrodzka. I am assistant professor at Department of Astrophysics, Radboud University, the Netherlands. I am a member of the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration which in 2019 published the first image of the black hole. Within EHT collaboration I lead efforts to measure polarization of M87 ring. The figure on the right shows the polarized version of M87 photo. The new results have been published on March 24, 2021 (see official press release). I am mainly theoretical astrophysicist who works at the boundary where theory meets with observations. Please see research group to find out about my research and my research group.
