GRMHD simulations of black hole accretion

My group has extensive expertise in running GRMHD simulations of accreting black holes to study behaviour of plasma under conditions of extreme gravity and extreme temperatures. We recently use mainly ebhlight (harm family of GRMHD codes) and AthenaK (GPU version of Athena++) GRMHD simulation codes. Here is a recent example of 3D GRMHD two-temperature simulation of MAD accretion disk around spinning black hole evolved for 30,000 dynamical timescales on the horizon (click on figure to see a movie).
