We occasionally get request from primary or secondary school students to supervise projects or help them out with materials for talks etc.

The policy to deal with such requests is as follows:

• If somebody in our institute wants to supervise such a project (as a personal initiative), then that is excellent, and of course encouraged.
• If nobody immediately volunteers, then as the standard response we should refer the student to PUC (http://www.ru.nl/pucofscience/scholieren/profielwerkstuk/).
